Es un tramo de un antiguo camino que unia los dos grandes valles (Güímar y La Orotava). Comienza en los límites del Parque y asciende bordeando la ladera sur de Montaña Limón hasta conectar con la ruta 21 Corral del Niño – Yegua Blanca.
