Which way round
Anticlockwise: Climbs 17% for 700 m early on, comes down 16% for 680 m near the end.
Clockwise: Climbs 16% for 680 m early on, comes down 17% for 700 m near the end.
Better anticlockwise: you climb the steeper side (1.8 km at 10%+, 1.8 km of it 15%+) and come down 1 km of steep ground. Steep descents are where people slip, and they're harder on knees late in a walk.
Main climb: km 0.0–3.1, from 353 m to 670 m.
