Hull: The Deep, Wilberforce House and the Arctic Corsair
250 XP
The Deep, an aquarium on the Humber, opened in 2002. In the old town, William Wilberforce was born in the house on High Street that is now his museum, the Maritime Museum stands in Queen Victoria Square, and the 1960 trawler Arctic Corsair has a new berth in the old dry dock at the North End Shipyard. Upstream, the Humber Bridge had the longest single span in the world, 1,410m, when it opened in 1981.
